Store update!

Just an update,
I am working on getting my online store up and running. I will probably do it all via Etsy,  though I'm unsure.
I'd like to have something on the store by the end of the week, so I will do another update soon - I'm excited about it!
It'll be a nice way for people to support my artwork.

I'm currently working on a large painting, it's coming along well.
I am trying to make the video really visually appealing.
Lately, I've been watching lots of old films and really enjoying the different angles and details. Somehow, old movies seem more inspiring to me than modern movies;
I guess because there was less of a reliance on special effects, it seems more creative.

The picture above is a still from the upcoming video, but I think this will end up getting cut out! I have a better idea! :-)

So excited about this next video! Xx

David Bowie Painting - Space Oddity

Here is a little video I put together of some older footage, I painted this portrait in 2016 as a tribute to David Bowie. I hope you enjoy the video, to accompany my painting I have used Rick Wakeman's beautiful piano cover of Space Oddity.

I have been listening to Rick Wakeman's 'Piano Portraits' album a lot lately, it sets a nice relaxing tone. The album has some really beautiful songs on it - including, a couple of Beatles covers, Led Zeppelin, Tchaikovsky and Debussy. It's a lovely album, all the songs flow together nicely and it's very peaceful. I recommend it.

Beautiful

I woke up in love with the world. It's so beautiful outside. I'm excited to update this blog with pictures of my adventures.

I was watching a show with Joseph Campbell last night and I really enjoyed it. He had such a reassuring manner. I love his passion and also he had the same alive, excitable-twinkle in his eye as someone that I know that I really admire.
It must have rubbed off on me or something.

I'm going to enjoy it. I never take it for granted when I feel happy.
